Name: Yuan Ka-fai. But don't expect him to use that last name. Ever.
Fandom: Tales of Symphonia.
Gender: Male.
Time Period: Post-game (the first game!).
Wing Color: Pink/lavender.
Relationship Status: None.
Brief Synopse: Yuan appears to be a relatively mean person to others. He acts cold towards pretty much everyone and flat-out refuses to admit his mistakes. It's hard to gain his trust. However, deep down he does care about people. He just can’t show it properly, likely due to being discriminated in his past. Yuan is a half-elf and over four-thousand years old. This is because of his ‘Cruxis crystal’, which halted his metabolism. It also gave him a couple of angelic abilities, such as wings and enhanced sight/hearing. Things that he lost now that he's been transported to Luceti.
Originally, Yuan was born in the city now known as Asgard. Remarkably, despite being a half-elf, he was appointed a high military rank. The Kharlan war between Sylvarant and Tethe'alla had been waging for a thousand years and battles had become a common occurance. Yuan allied himself with Kratos Aurion and the two Yggdrasill siblings; Mithos and Martel. Together, the four struggled to end the war. During this time, they made pacts with Summon Spirits and gained Cruxis Crystals. Also, Yuan proposed to Martel. They succeeded in creating peace, but were unable to save the Great Kharlan Tree. Using his pact with the king of Summon Spirits, Mithos split the world into two. Sadly, as they waited for an opportunity to revitalize the tree, Martel was murdered by a human and Mithos lost his mind. The organization of Cruxis was created, with the leftover Kharlan Heroes at its head. Thus, the Four Seraphim were born. Much later, Yuan started an underground organisation known as the Renegades, which opposed Cruxis.

After Cruxis was abolished, the Renegades focussed on world rebuilding projects and Yuan became the guardian of the new Kharlan Tree.
He wields an enormous double-edged saber, which he can swing with a bit less ease now that his angelic strength is gone. His basic magical element is Lightning, but it's being supressed in Luceti. He can't do much more than send a couple of painful sparks his opponent's way, which pisses him off immensely. When he died during the epidemic event in 2008, he lost his ability to see colors. About a year later, that was cured by everyone's favourite wayward Malnosso scientist: John.
